Destiny has been with the Intervention and Outreach Team (IOT) at NorWest Coop Community Health since 2017. She was a Clinician and Wraparound Facilitator for 6 years, and accepted the Intervention and Outreach Team Coordinator position in 2023. As of October 2024 she has moved into a new role with the organization as the Clinical Director. Prior to her employment with NorWest Coop she was employed as a Probation Officer with Manitoba Justice for 8 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Social Work degree and is currently registered with the Manitoba College of Social Workers.
Destiny oversees the Facilitation of 20+ wraps with youth and their families, and has facilitated many wraps herself. She is also a certified High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator, Trainer and Coach with Wrap Canada. Destiny has witnessed how High Fidelity Wraparound can be very powerful for some of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable youth with complex needs and is a firm believer that Wraparound has the ability to be transformative and reach folks in a meaningful and life-changing way. Destiny is very grateful to have been able to experience Wraparound and it has enriched her career.
