Kelly Peterson

Kelly has been an advocate of Wraparound for several years. She is currently the Coordinator of the Wraparound for Older Adults initiative at Community Care Northumberland—a newer initiative of the Ontario Health Team of Northumberland, a program which she has led for the past four years in Northumberland County.

Kelly brings extensive experience to Wraparound in her current role as well her previous role as a Facilitator with Wraparound Northumberland, where she worked closely with families and youth, supporting them as they navigated their support systems. In addition to facilitating wraps, Kelly has served as a Wraparound Coach & Trainer, sharing her expertise with others in the field and supporting her volunteer Facilitators in the Older Adults program. Kelly believes strongly in the Wraparound core values and practice principles and takes pride in supporting older adults within Northumberland County to achieve their goals by following these principles. Participants have had great success using the Wraparound method of support and have felt at ease knowing that they have volunteer facilitators who are available to assist them in building a team of support to help them achieve their goals.

In 2024, Kelly joined the Wrap Canada Board of Directors, contributing her insights and experience to the national organization. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Geography from Brock University and degrees in Developmental Service Work and Geriatric & Activation from Loyalist College.
