Pauline Calinisan

Pauline is a Registered Social Worker in Manitoba working as the Coordinator of the Intervention & Outreach Team (IOT) at Norwest Co-op Community Health. In her full-time role, Pauline leads a team supporting youth who have complex needs and multi-systemic involvement. IOT utilizes the high-fidelity Wraparound model to support youth and families in identifying their goals and ideas towards next steps. In addition to this, Pauline provides clinical therapy in a private practice setting, focusing her interventions within strengths-based knowledge and trauma-focused frameworks.

She has been working in social services since 2016 and has held professional opportunities within sectors of domestic violence, crisis response and community development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degrees and this past June completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Manitoba. She has been involved at the University in several teaching and research roles, continuing to grow her knowledge in areas of mentorship and professional development within the social work lens. Pauline’s cultural roots stem from her Filipino heritage; she holds closely shared values of community, kindness and compassion. Pauline is new to the Board. She is keen to share her gifts at the Wrap Canada Board and to participate in the growth of Wraparound across Canada in that capacity.
