Stephanie Ens

Stephanie Ens rejoins the Board after having served for 6 years, prior to last year. She is a Co-Director of Wrap Canada’s Wraparound Training Institute, has served as Vice-Chair of the Wrap Canada Board, and coordinates all Wraparound training in Manitoba. She has overseen a number of Wraparound trainings offered recently in the Northwest Territories and in Saskatchewan, in Indigenous contexts. She is also active in providing Coaches training and Facilitator Trainer training.

Stephanie brings great skills and experiences in high fidelity Wraparound practice to the Wrap Canada Board. She holds a bachelors and masters of social work degrees and is registered with the College of Social Work. She currently serves as the Executive Director of NorWest Co-op Community Health, a large community health organization located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Stephanie has devoted her social work career to working with youth, particularly Indigenous youth and focused her master’s thesis on ways helpers have been effective or harmful when working with this population. She believes that the values and principles of Wraparound align well with Indigenous traditional practices. Stephanie is grateful for the process of Wraparound and is committed to being part of the Wrap Canada Board and expanding its reach.
